Good Will Hunting
In the movie Good Will Hunting, young Will enters therapy because of a troubled history of abuse. Based on what I have described in my blog about likeability, why is the title of the move called Good Will Hunting? Let me know what you think and then I will share my thoughts with readers of my blog. Thanks.

Will is hunting for "good will" from those closest to him. He is hesitant to make himself vulnerable to Skylar because he is used to being hurt by those who are "supposed" to love him the most.
Sean tells Will that it is not his fault, that he was abused; there was nothing he did wrong, to cause what happened to him
That's one answer. You linked to what I wrote on my own blog: Matt Damon was "hunting" for "good will" from the "powers to be in Hollywood" - I don't know if there is any basis in reality for that view... but I think it holds up.
And it certainly applies to:
the reel good will hunting, too;)
