Welcome

Learning is a never-ending journey. I've learned much from my mentors, from the wise sages in my life. I feel it is important to share and pass along some of what I have learned – and continue to learn. I believe we are all responsible for smoothing the path for those who come after us. And I know that we are all connected and here to support one another.

My purpose is to:

  • Improve organizational effectiveness through individual development
  • Improve individual effectiveness through organizational development

Learning from Google

I discovered that Google has an authors series in which you can find great video of authors talking to leaders at Google.  The sessions are as if you are one of the participants in a workshop.  Each one is about 30-40 minutes so the segments are perfect for showing in a seminar class.

The variety of authors is fascinating because many of them you would recognize.  One of the authors who is of interest to me right now is Michael Carroll.  His website and newsletter is worth bookmarking and reading. Carroll led a workshop talking about mindful meditation to a group at Google.

How fun would it be to work at Google?  What would we learn in such an environment? Check it out:

Jann's Note:  Learning to live your best life is includes continuous learning, being open to feedback, learning to "let go" in order to move on, and having fun!
