Women from Yucatan, Mexico ... Daring to Be
This forthcoming book (McFarland Publishing) is about women working hard to make a difference in the lives of others. This book of essays, photographs, and analysis will be published in 2009-10. Since 2000, a bilingual black and white photography exhibit has been traveling around the state of Iowa in galleries, colleges and universities, and other public places where there is a growing Latino population. The exhibit was also displayed in Merida, Yucatan in 2004 in which most of the women leaders were present at the reception.
