Business schools don’t prepared people to be laid off or downsized out nor do they teach leaders how to lay off people. We often refer to people and interpersonal skills as the “soft skills.” But as one of my Sages for Leading With Wisdom: Sage Advice for 100 Experts told me: “The soft stuff is the hard stuff.” And another Sage put it this way: The fluff is the stuff.”
